Are natural disasters and man-made pollution related? Many researchers suggest
that there may be a link between air pollution and natural disasters. Scientists believe that the increasing number of natural disasters in this decade is resulted from global warming. And the main cause of global warming is the increasing level of air pollution, especially greenhouse gases. The Earth’s average temperature is getting warmer and warmer every day. This causes water to evaporate, changing from being liquid to being gas, faster which can lead to drought. Humid and hot atmosphere is also the ideal condition for tropical storm. The intensity of storms forming in this condition can be enormous and bring devastating destruction. Furthermore, global warming caused by air pollution can accelerate the ice cap melting process.
