Bài 1. Two people are talking about their favourite films: Gone with the Wind and A Space Odyssey. Read their descriptions and tick (/) the boxes (Hai người đang nói về những phim yêu thích: Cuốn theo chiều gió và Chuyến du hành không gian. Đọc miêu tả của họ và đánh dấu chọn khung)
NGƯỜI ĐÀN ÔNG: “Phim này được thực hiện vào năm 1939 với các ngôi sao Clark Gable và Vivien Leigh. Nó là bộ phim rất dài bởi vì nó nói về cuộc nội chiến Mỹ. Bạn không bao giờ thấy chán bộ phim này bởi vì nó rất hấp dẫn. Mình đã xem nó khoảng 4 lần và vẫn thích nó. Nó có lẽ quá lãng mạn với vài người nhưng đó là một trong những lý do mình thích nó.”
NGƯỜI PHỤ NỮ: “Nó là một phim khoa học viễn tưởng cổ điển. Vài người thích nó và những người khác ghét nó. Stanley Kubrick đã đạo diễn cho phim này vào năm 1968. Câu chuyện nói về một nhóm nhà du hành người Mỹ du hành đến một hành tinh để tìm vật thể bí ẩn. Nó không phải là phim hấp dẫn hay bạo lực nhưng nó ly kỳ trong việc sử dụng hình ảnh và âm nhạc.”

I will go to the city zoo with my parents this Sunday. We will go there by motorbike. We will bring 3 sanwiches, 3 bottle of water, an umbrella, some candies and a camera. We will see the animals and find a place to take a rest in the zoo to have lunch.
Tôi sẽ đi Vườn thú thành phố cùng ba mẹ vào Chủ nhật này. Chúng tôi sẽ đi đến đó bằng xe máy. Chúng tôi sẽ mang theo 3 bịch bánh sandwich, 3 chai nước, một cái dù, một ít kẹo và một máy chụp hình. Chúng tôi sẽ đi xem những con thú và tìm một nơi trong vườn thú để nghỉ ngơi ăn trưa.
Bài 3. Work in groups. Take turns talking about the arrangements for the trip.
On Saturday night, we will prepare things in advance. We will prepare 1 sanwiches, 3 bottle of water, an umbrella, some candies and a camera.
Morning Sunday at 8:00 we will leave house to go the the zoo after breakfast.
Around 11:30 we will have lunch in the zoo and then go around the zoo.
In the afternoon we go home around 3 p.m.
Tối Chủ nhật chúng tôi sẽ chuẩn bị mọi thứ trước. Chúng tôi chuẩn bị 3 bịch bánh sandwich, 3 chai nước, một cây dù, một ít kẹo và một máy chụp hình.
Sáng Chủ nhật 8 giờ chúng tôi sẽ rời khỏi nhà để đi vườn thú sau khi ăn sáng xong.
Khoảng 11 giờ 30 chúng tôi sẽ ăn trưa trong vườn thú và sau đó đi loanh quanh vườn thú.
Chúng tôi sẽ về nhà vào khoảng 3 giờ chiều.

Last weekend I went to a seafood restaurant on Main Street. It’s great. To begin, I had a salad. It was fresh with a great house dressing. My main dish was fish. I really enjoyed the spices it was cooked in. The vegetables were good – very fresh and tasty. For dessert, I had ice cream. It’s usually delicious but this time it was much too sweet. I couldn’t eat much because I am on a diet. I had a cup of tea to drink. Oh, it was delicious.

aFirst, slice the mushrooms.

Then, beat the eggs in a bowl.

Next, add salt to the egg mixture.

After that, pour the eggs into a frying pan. Add the mushrooms and cook.

Finally, fold the omelette in half.
